Changing the State of Mind to Cure Headache

Hi Folks,

Do you think changing the state of mind cure your headache? I just read an article which suggests that changing the state of mind can cure your headache.

Someone was suffering from the migraine headache per week, for over twenty years. One day, he decided to cure the headache by changing his state of mind. As soon as he knew that the headache was coming, he changed his mind to something else, something pleasant, something positive, something peaceful. And he said that it worked for him and he practiced that every time he realized that headache is started to come. And since then, the headache has left him.

Do you sometimes suffer from any kind of headache? How do you get rid of the headache without any medicine? Please share your experience here. Thanks for reading.

Garlic Fights Cancer

Hi Folks,

My friend, Mr. Cel, used to have raw garlic and some vegetables with his lunch. Though vegetables have no smell after consuming them, garlic has left some kind of smell even after you brush your teeth. So though I know that it is good for health, it was very hard for me to follow his example. But today, after reading the following report, I thought of myself that I should start having some garlic myself too.

Eating garlic seems to protect against stomach and colorectal cancer, researchers report. Dr. Lenore Arab and colleagues from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill analyzed 18 studies looking at garlic eaters. The average intake of the highest consumers of raw or cooked garlic was 18.3 grams per week (about six cloves). Based on six studies, the findings suggest "high consumption of raw or cooked garlic decreases the risk of colorectal cancer from 10% to nearly 50%," the authors write. Based on four studies, the risk of developing stomach cancer was cut in half for those who consumed the most garlic. [ American Journal of Clinical Nutrition October, 2000;72:1047-1052.]

Simple Steps to Boost your Energy

Hi Folks,

After our baby was born, I hardly got enough sleep in most of the nights since we don't have any maid. Often, I felt that I was somehow weaker than before.

Yesterday, I was having a short exercise of 20 minutes before taking bath. When we were having dinner, I saw that my brother-in-law was having the young leaves of the Papaya tree behind our house. He said, his father taught him to eat this so he can be free from diseases and have good stamina. So I followed him in having the Papaya leaves with the meal.

Before I slept, I drank 500 ml of water. Unfortunately, because of the baby, we were able to sleep only after 1:30 am. This morning, I woke up at 6:30 am and I got up from the bed immediately. After a few minutes, I drank a bottle of water too.

Today, I felt that I was not sleepy or feel weak at the school. It was a very nice experience. I assume that the following four things have affected my body in a good way.

1. A short Exercise of 20 minutes.

2. Eating Young Papaya Leaves as medicines.

3. Drinking Water.

4. Get up immediately from the bed as soon as you wake up. (You will feel fresh for the whole day)

Have a nice and wonderful day!

Success

Success means many wonderful, positive things.
Success means personal prosperity: financial security, giving your children maximum advantages. Success means winning admiration, leadership, being looked up to by people in your business and social life. Success means freedom: freedom from worries, fears, frustrations, and failure. Success means self-respect, continually finding more real happiness and satisfaction from life, being able to do more for those who depend on you.
Success means winning!
Success –achievement – is the goal of life!

Biblical quotation stating that faith can move mountains!

You can move a mountain with belief. You can win success by believing you can succeed.

Belief works this way. Belief, the “I’m-positive-I-can” attitude, generates the power, skill, and energy needed to do.

When you believe I-can-do-it, the how-to-do-it develops.

Believe in yourself and good things do start happening.

A person is a product of his own thoughts.

Think success. don’t think failure.

Thinking success conditions your mind to create plans that produce success.

Remind yourself regularly that you are better than you think you are.

Successful people are just ordinary folks who have developed belief in themselves and what they do.

The size of your success is determined by the size of your belief.

Think little goals and expect little achievements.

Think big goals and win big success!

Remember this too!
Big ideas and big plans are often easier – certainly no more difficult – than small ideas and small plans.

Follow this three simple steps!

1. Know what to do.
2. Know how to do.
3. And Get results!

Now, It’s fun to feel yourself that you are growing more confident, more effective, more successful day-by-day, month-by-month. Nothing – absolutely nothing – in this life gives you more satisfaction than knowing you’re on the road to success and achievement. And nothing stands as a bigger challenge than making the most of yourself!

How to treat Shyness

During my teenage days (aged-12 to 18) , I was suffering from Shyness. It was not very serious but it effected my personalty and social relationships to some extent. My parents seemed not to notice about this condition so much at that time and so they didn't give me any proper treatment for this. Now as I became an adult, I realized how bad it was and I don't want that any teenager should suffer like me.

First of all, we much know what shyness is and where it comes from? We have to discover what has prevented a human being from developing normally. We have to find out precisely – in a person’s education, religious upbringing, and sex-life – what has caused the block.

A shy person must learn to analyze himself and discover himself and discover the causes of his shyness. If he knows what they are, he will have plenty of ammunition to fight with. He will no longer find himself before this elusive enemy who grips him by the throat.

He will know exactly what he is up against and be able to uproot it from his life. All men aspire to a state of perfect balance and are completely at ease with the world, because they realize that balance and ease are natural and normal.

How to look after of your heart

The way to a healthy heart is through the stomach!

Do’s

Have a balanced diet - it will make you feel much better and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Eat lots of fruit and vegetables (at least 5 – 7 serving a day)
Eat a variety of grain products especially whole grains
Choose fat-free and low fat products, and eat more fish, beans and pulses, and lean meat.
Combine this with regular exercise - even 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day will help you, and this includes walking and dancing!
Consult your doctor regularly.

Don’t

Smoke - if you smoke, giving up must be your No. 1 priority.
Food that are high in calories and low in nutritional value like soft drinks, sweets, pastries and cakes should be avoided.
Foods that are high in animal fats and cholesterol should be kept to a minimum - also avoid fried food.
If you drink alcohol, limit it to one drink a day if you are a woman, or two if you are a man.
Make sure you reduce the salt in your diet, especially if you have high blood pressure.
